Individual & Partner SPorts
The PE 9/Individual and Partner Sports Curriculum is designed to give students the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental and advanced skills and strategies in the individual and partner sport category as well as fitness concepts and conditioning techniques used for achieving and maintaining optimal physical fitness. Students will benefit from comprehensive individual partner sport activities and cardio-respiratory activities. Students will be empowered to make healthy choices, develop positive behaviors in team activities, wellness, and movement activity for lifetime fitness. The curriculum is based on many different sports. Students will learn skill, strategy, rules, and personal and social responsibility; Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Project Adventure, Backyard games, Disc Golf, Running and Jogging, Strength and Conditioning, and Pickleball.
