Fitness and Dance Curriculum
This curriculum is designed for students to achieve individual fitness goals and provides all students with the opportunity to acquire comprehensive knowledge of dance skills and fitness concepts. Students develop and apply a broad understanding of choreography's, dance and fitness elements, and learn a variety of fun training techniques which can be applied towards achieving personal fitness goals. The combination of Fitness and Dance offers students a total body workout which promotes heart-healthy benefits. Students will learn movements in Step-Cardio, Dance-Cardio, Body Toning, Yoga, POUND Rockout Workout, JM Body Shred, Cardio-Latin Dance, Zumba Fitness, Hip-Hop Dance, and Pilates Mat Prop class. Below is the information you will need to study for the Fitness and Dance unit tests.
