Team Sports
The PE 10/Team Sports Curriculum is designed to give students the opportunity to learn and develop fundamental and advanced skills and strategies in the team sport category as well as fitness concepts and conditioning techniques used for achieving and maintaining optimal physical fitness. Students will benefit from comprehensive team activities and cardio-respiratory activities. Students will be empowered to make healthy choices, develop positive behaviors in team activities, wellness, and movement activity for lifetime fitness. The curriculum is based on many different team sports. Students will learn skill, strategy, rules, and personal and social responsibility; Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Floor Hockey, Team Handball, Soccer, Ultimate Disc, and Softball.
